Waterfall, Botanical Garden or Private Estate?
Which Waterfall, Botanical Garden or Private Estate Wedding Site is Best? Maui Waterfall Wedding Sites:
Maui Waterfalls Botanical Gardens & Private Estates.
Haiku waterfall - a magnificent natural Maui waterfall, falling over a cliff into the sea. This special wedding location combines the wonder of Hawaiian nature at it's most spectacular with elegant conveniences, such as covered deck and beautiful bach/changing rooms for the bride and her wedding party. An elegantly decorated tropical island themed partially-open reception area is available for your after wedding celebration.
Iao Valley Gardens - Very pretty medium-sized waterfall in a lush, tropical Maui setting. Not as spectacular or well kept as the Haiku waterfall location, but pretty, less expensive, and more centrally located.
Maui Garden Wedding Locations:
Maui Upcountry Gardens - Enchanting botanical gardens with a wonderland of trees, flowers, and shrubs. Two wedding gazebos offer shelter from the sun and rain and provide a story-book backdrop for your wedding. Because the gardens are located at a higher elevation - over 3,000 ft in elevation on the slopes of Mt. Haleakala (House of the Sun), the temperatures are always pretty much perfect, with temps hovering in the 70's daily, regardless of time of year. The office has large uncrowded bathrooms, perfect for changing into your bridal gown or tux. Some of the sites at this particular location have distant but grand ocean views and others dramatic mountain views. Others have a small stream and waterfall as a backdrop. This site offers great privacy and comfortable weather for your Maui wedding, at a very affordable price.
Maui Tropical Plantation - This is a beautiful site that will accommodate weddings from two to two hundred or more. It features lush tropical foliage and a small lake beside a white wedding gazebo. The site is moedrately priced and has a very large restaurant facility available for your wedding reception, if you'd like. The dining room offers a view of the lake and a very dramatic backdrop of the West Maui Mountains. The restaurant is affordable and there are free tours of the entire grounds that happen daily.
Olowalu Plantation House - Magnificently located on Olowalu Beach and harbor, this is a luxurious and well appointed wedding location, ideal for groups of over 50 and can handle up to 300 people for a wedding and reception. You get the whole property to yourself for 12 hours for one flat fee, but there are quite a few restrictions on the use of the property and music must end early, because this property is located in a residential neighborhood. Although wonderful in many ways, because of the higher price for this facility, the newfound restrictions and difficulty in finding availability, it is being used less and less by people seeking a private oceanfront Maui wedding location. If you can plan ahead enough and can pay the minimum $2,000 charge, then it's a lovely place for your Maui wedding.
Maui Old Sugar Mill - A stone sugar mill ruins converted into a lush and romantic walled garden in Haiku, Maui, is becoming a popular new location for larger wedding parties seeking a spacious and private tropical-themed wedding location on the beautiful island of Maui, where private beach settings for weddings are becoming more difficult to find.
