Amanda and Kirk experienced a beautiful and joy-filled wedding in Beautiful Kula Gardens in Maui. Their love and enthusiasm were very captivating and every photo by Desiree Maher captured these wonderful qualities.  Marcie Guendel was the bride’s excellent hair stylist.
Kirk and Amanda’s family and friends entered into the spirit of this merry wedding fully. The weather in the gardens was perfect. All in all, it was one of those very special and gorgeous weddings that were a source of joy and inspiration for everyone involved.
If you missed it last week, please see part one of Amanda and Kirk’s wedding.

Amanda and Kirk and their family and friends are very fun-loving people who entirely enjoyed their Kula Garden wedding. Amanda also had a great time planning the details of the wedding, including her dress, the wedding party’s attire, her hair and flowers in the Great Gatsby theme.
I love a wedding with laughter and fun and Amanda and Kirk were definitely in that spirit. They also were deeply in the spirit of love. Wisely, they chose the Kula Gardens which fit their theme perfectly and allowed them to be very carefree in the peace and privacy of the lovely gardens.
Rev. Ayesha Sandra Lee performed their wedding ceremony, which they fully enjoyed and Desiree Maher captured all the love, laughter and beauty in her skilled and beautiful photography. Marcie Guendel contributed gorgeous Gatsby style hair and make up for the beautiful Amanda.
to be continued…

Jade and Otto had a gorgeous wedding at the Five Palms lawn on Keawakapu Beach. After the wedding, there was a spirited bouquet toss, many beautiful photo groupings, orchestrated by the photographer, Desiree Maher and also romantic shots of the bride and groom.
The Five Palms staff provided delicious cocktails and Island style appetizers for the guests while the photos were taken. Kai Akin provided virtuoso ukulele music for the guests to be entertained by as they socialized and enjoyed the delicious drinks, appetizers, the Maui beach sunset and the vision of their beloved Jade and Otto enjoying the beach and each other.
Afterwards, Otto and Jade led their guests into the Five Palms open-air restaurant for a festive dinner and wedding cake.
I want to thank Jade and Otto and their family and friends for being such joyful spirited, visionary people, who caused this wonderful celebration to happen. Also, I want to thank Desiree Maher for her lovely photos, Kai Akin for his Hawaiian-soul ukulele and The Five Palms Staff for creating the beautiful venue, food, drinks and service that made Otto and Jade’s wedding such a wonderful success.

Jade and Otto and their family and friends enjoyed a very loving and sweet wedding celebration and reception at the beautiful Five Palms lawn and spectacular Keawakapu Beach.

Otto and Jade have made their home on Maui recently and have already established, roots, careers, many friends and a love of Hawaii. Their guests were multi-cultural, from Hawaii, China and many parts of the mainland. Such mixtures of people are warmly embraced here on Maui.

Jade and Otto’s guests were also a very spirited and fun-loving group of people. They were so much fun to get to know at such a beautiful occasion. They all lovingly embraced the Hawaiian customs that were a major part of the wedding. They truly celebrated their bride and groom.

Kai Akin provided heartfelt Hawaiian music on ukulele, Desiree Maher photographed the event with shining expertise and Rev. Ayesha Sandra Lee was the minister-officiant.

This romantic wedding tale will continue in our next blog.  Until then, enjoy these wonderful pictures and have a Happy 4th of July!
